An interview with XL’s recently signed Giggs and pop journalist Paul Morley for the Guardian. Morley goes at Giggs with the right questions, one of the key questions being “can British black music from the streets make it through the mainstream without getting completely repackaged”. Giggs holds himself well and gives a good insight onto his “world” without any glamorisation or fabrication. We believe he will do well as the current ambassador for street education, lets hope his album is as good as his honest interviewing…
