Stussy Documentary on J Dilla
The third of a three part documentary on hip hop’s most influential producer Detroit-born James Yancey (A.K.A J Dilla) went online today. It looks at the people he worked with and their introductions, his move from his hometown to Los Angeles and his highly regarded album Donuts. Props to Stussy for this one, it’s a good insight to the life of one of the most poiniant hip hop artists of all time.

Thanks for this.
I’ve been aware of Dilla from his name being frequently mentioned but never understood what’s supposed to be so special about him, so something like this is useful.
