Last year grime said goodbye to one of the most respected artists in the game, Slew Dem’s Esco Bars who past away late last year. I’d been to producer S.K.I.T.Z Beats’ studio a month or so after Esco’s passing away and I remember him playing me a handful of unfinished tracks he’d done with Esco, one of them was “I’m a General”. The track has recently been completed thanks to the Newham Generals and a hood video has just been made by Risky Roadz. Peep it above and take in the words from one of the most missed grime artists.
