James Edson on Photographer Scott Pommier
Here’s the third instalment from PWBC skater and photographer James Edson on his favourite skateboarding photographers. He’s been in bed suffering the repercussions of a bad curry all weekend but managed to get something down for us. What a guy! Anyway, here it is…
Scott Pommier is a Canadian born photographer who’s main subject matter is skateboarding but also documents a lot of stuff to do with motor cycle culture. A lot of motor cycle culture is similar to the skate culture as its emphasis is based around freedom and is without law. To me this makes them both very attractive. Many of his photos are of Jason Jesse who is an old school skater who now builds motor bikes and is the embodiment of not giving a fuck.
