Joe Skilton
Joe Skilton grew up in York, UK, and moved out of his parents house in 2008 to study in Edinburgh. At the moment he’s living in Baltimore and attending the Maryland Institute College of Art. His photographs are an outlet for the love of his friends, frequent captures of the kids and characters he is growing up with. This selection of images are taken from frequent trips to New York City during the first few months of 2010.
“This was a really sunny day in the city when we took the train up to Harlem in search for where the underground becomes over-ground. We walked right down the tracks for a while, knowing that this section of tunnel stretches 60 blocks. It was so eerie when you could hear the trains groaning towards you in the distance, it was a lot of fun down there.”
