14/19′s Best of the Week – #07

First we have a photo by Louis Fry – who really pushes the capabilities of polaroids to their limit a lot of the time, getting some amazing results. This one is 35mm, but whatever – it’s a great shot.
It would seem that this week everyone has decided to redesign/massively update their website. First of all we have Dave Geeting‘s which now has a load more of his awesome 120 stuff and also his trip to London a while back…
…and also Bobby Doherty‘s, whose site is a kind of mindfuck exploratory weird zone. there are lots of hidden bits and pieces, it is equally frustrating and cool.
I’m pretty sure that in this photo by Sam Plant a flourescent tube is getting smashed. That is one of the best feelings ever doing that. You should try it!
Kelsey Reckling‘s stream is really varied. I think the best thing she shoots though is these super-intimate, almost fly-on-the-wall shots of girls – and that’s not just the teenage boy in me talking.
The last photo is by Dimitri Karakostas, and comes with EXCITING NEWS. I’ve just done a split zine release with him called IT COULD BE WORSE, and it looks amazing. 32 pages full colour, hand-bound by him up in Canada. Check it out/buy a copy on his blog!
