Nike 1948 Ipad App

Last Thursday, Nike’s 1948 store located in Shoreditch re-opened it’s doors after a complete re-haul of the space, which has been intelligently designed to allow communities to make use it and allow Nike to inspire Londoners to play and love sport through via cultural experiences, installations, screenings and events. There will be continuously changing events and installations taking place at the space, with the current being a tennis-themed exhibition of wall murals by London-based artists Best Ever coinciding with a video installation by the very talented photographer and video artist Tyrone Lebon.

Coinciding with the Launch of the previously disused rail arch, they have released a new quarterly magazine that comes in the form of an ipad application. The first download is a double-header with archived material from the previous printed magazines and the brand new summer issue. Featuring original interactive content from some of the capital’s most talented artists, writers and film makers; it represents the constantly shifting space between creativity and athleticism in the city.

You can download the app here.
