New compilation from Geoff Barrow & Invada Records
Geoff Barrow, one third of Portishead/ one third of Beak>/ founder of Invada Records/ man of few missteps has just announced a new compilation via his label’s site. “Invada Sampler 2012″ features new and unreleased tunes from Beak>, Anika, Katalyst, Drokk (Barrow’s side project with Ben Sailsbury) and the rest of the roster. This one’s worth checking solely based of the man’s track record for making/facilitating the release of great music. Standouts include a beat sampler from Katalyst (5), a Chromatics cover from Anika (8), and “Eggdog,” a lovely droner from Beak>. Stream the entire thing below, info here.
