As if keeping up with what’s so-hot-right-now isn’t hard enough, London Fashion Week crams it all in to the space of 6 days (in my opinion, an improper use of the word ‘week’!) and, like a sports day race that you’re thoroughly under-prepared for, screeches ‘GO!’.
Not only is it one of the longest, most time-sucking weeks in the calendar, it ruthlessly happens not once but twice a year!! The first Fashion week of the year 2012 (Autumn / Winter) was no exception. Time was indeed sucked. So much so, that we only now present you with our take on the event…
With so much to see and so little time, its a shock that I even managed to sneak these few snaps of the goings-on before collapsing in a heap on the floor of the 76 bus which, whilst we’re on the subject, is an absurdly slow mode of transport between Hackney and the almighty Somerset House venue, no mater what time of day.
Here are a few pictorial explorations of what I got up to during the week – From Jonathan Saunders sky scraping show, to the LFW NewGen Exhibition. Enjoy.
