Robin Clare

Robin Clare is a contemporary painter based in the Brighton. She was born in Belize to Jamaican parents and has lived in Belize, Jamaica and Canada before travelling to London to study art. She says she loves using bold colours and lettering, echoing the advertising style implemented in the Pop Art tradition, acting as a commentary on our materialistic ‘throw-away’ culture. Robin's works are created using a number of techniques, from bright-coloured painting to stencilled patterns, combined with texts appropriated from popular culture, news headlines and everyday phrases.

George Hields

George studied Art Foundation in Brighton last year and made the choice to move to London this summer after deciding he didn't want to commit to three years at university. George says he is currently working on a few new projects and is most excited by the idea of 'disposable time'. Aside from photography, George writes fiction, mainly short stories to accompany illustrations and has recently started a "gnarles new band..."
