‘New Moves’ Private View @ Chapter One Gallery

Last Thursday was the private view for our first photographic exhibition ‘New Moves’ at the Chapter One Gallery. After a week of intense preparation, promotion and a tiny bit of procrastination on our behalf, the show was ready and the turnout was huge! All the exhibitors where there, standing proud by their work alongside a 200 plus-strong crowd enjoying the prints on display and the free drinks provided by Tiger Beer. We were also blessed with the presence of world renowned photographer David Bailey! So all in all, the private view was a huge success. The show is showing throughout December at Chapter One, expect some live performances throughout the month from a range of musicians. Thanks to all the people involved and everyone who turned up on Thursday.  Expect more to come in the new year!

Marlon Rabenreither

Marlon Rabenreither was born in Vienna but spent the most important and interesting years of his life in the sleazy streets of Hollywood. Since leaving Los Angeles two years ago for England to study Fine Art at Goldsmiths University of London he has focused mostly on Collage and Video work. Rabenreither is interested in documenting Los Angeles, Witchcraft, Teenagers and Punks . He ritually shoots 1 or 2 rolls of film a week and has done so for a little over one year but considers his photographs to be more of a personal archive as opposed to a legitimate art practice. “I have little idea of why anyone would be interested in the kids in my photographs or for that matter me”
