So last Saturday we had Newham Generals grace our night with their presence. Apart from some unfortunate sound problems the night was an absalute banger. Generals completely owned the stage and audience when they were on and the rest of the DJ's hed it down nicely for the rest of the night (apart from Tim from Tim & Barry, he had a bit of a tantrum because of the technical problems...). Two months after Kiss FM’s decision to cut all specialist DJ’s slots by an hour (including Logan’s) Grime is still feeling the effect, and despite recent mainstream successes from Wiley, Tinie Tempah and Dizzee, they have done little to ease MC’s, DJ’s and fans concerns that through mainstream neglect, the scene will peter out.
